HKM Yarns (trading under the name – HK Modi CC) was founded in 2003 and has since been catering to requirements of the textile sector in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.
HKM Yarns is an importer and stockist of yarns, and other raw materials for textile industry, with a key focus on quality. It imports products from major textile hubs of world such as India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan and China.

Our founder
Mr. HK Modi, is a Textile Technologist with almost 40 years of experience in textile industry across the Asia and Africa. He has worked in various textile organizations and brings with him the technical and business expertise pertaining to textile industry.
Our Head of Operations
Mr. Vandan Modi, is a business efficiency specialist, with a focus on enhancing the operations and supply chain to ensure that we can maintain competitive yarn prices despite economic and external factors such as exchange rate fluctuations.
Our Head of Finance
Ms. Swati Khandelwal, is an ACCA qualified professional, who constantly works to provide credit and finance solutions to our customers to assist their continuous operations.
Established sourcing network
We have personally visited facilities of our suppliers and verified their quality management system. We have been dealing with most of our suppliers for 15-20 years. We keep multiple sources to ensure continuous supply and minimum disruptions.
